The Cosmos Foundation!

The Cosmos Foundation is a Haitian rights organization which manages all activities created by the Swiss association Haiti-Cosmos in the Central Plateau of Haiti. Founded in 1993 in Geneva and chaired by Mrs Françoise Aebi, Haiti Cosmos is supported by several Geneva communes.

Vice-Chairman, Jean Claude François, is the main facilitator. Haitian native, he divides his time between Geneva and Hinche, 120 kilometers north of the capital, where are concentrated all Haiti-Cosmos development programs.

Since 1996, Haiti-Cosmos is supported by the Swiss Association of Friends of Sister Emmanuelle (ASASE) finances every year about 85% of its programs in Haiti.

A hundred people are currently employed by the foundation in Hinche, through different programs.
